Students could aim to come into Purdue with their language requirements fulfilled (that will lighten their load significantly in Year 3 at Purdue).
Purdue requires a two-course lab science sequence. The courses included in the Ivy Tech “Scientific Ways of Knowing” do not fulfill these requirements. The Purdue advisors recommend one of the following (again, this would significantly lighten their load in year 3 at Purdue):
BIOL 10500 and 10700 together at Ivy Tech would meet our ENTIRE lab requirement
CHEM 10500 at Ivy Tech + CHM 11600 at Purdue would meet the requirement
GEOL 10500 at Ivy Tech + EAPS 11200 at Purdue would meet the requirement
TSAP Disclaimer
The TSAP program is based on a specific two-year TSAP plan. Purdue doesn’t guarantee completion of the bachelor’s degree in four semesters if one chooses to enter a major other than the specific TSAP program at Purdue., Please consult the major department for more information.
