Public Policy Concentration for Political Science

About the Concentration
This concentration allows students to explore the institutions and processes of policy-making in domestic and global settings. Students who select this concentration explore theoretical and practical knowledge in policy agenda setting, policy analysis, policy adoption, policy implementation, and policy evaluation. Course options in this concentration include foreign and domestic topics in development and sustainability policy, justice and human security policy, social and family policy, economic policy, regulatory policy, and technology policy. This concentration prepares students to pursue a career in the private, nonprofit, or public sector in the United States or globally. Concentration Requirements (12 credits)
Required Foundation Course (3 credits)
Students must take the following course (3 hours) Selectives (9 credits)
Students must complete 9 credit hours from the courses below with at least 3 credit hours selected at the level of 30000 or above. |
