Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)

A. Required English Courses (3 credits)

ENGL 10600 - First-Year Composition (satisfies Information Literacy and Written Communication for core) (may also satisfy Liberal Arts core) or
ENGL 10800 - Accelerated First-Year Composition (satisfies Information Literacy and Written Communication for core) (may also satisfy Liberal Arts core) or
SCLA 10100 - Transformative Texts, Critical Thinking And Communication I: Antiquity To Modernity (satisfies Information Literacy and Written Communication for core) (may also satisfy Liberal Arts core)

B. 20000 Level or Above (3 credits)

ENGL 20000 - 59999 (any course)

C. 20000-50000 Level (9 credits)

ENGL 20000 - 59999 (any courses)

Notes

50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University.
Beginning FALL 2005, English minors must earn a grade of “C-” or better in order to receive credits for meeting [a unit level requirement]. The P/NP option is not available to complete this minor.
