Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)
A. Required Courses (9 credits)
B. Two (3 credit) courses from ONE of the areas below (6 credits)
Area 1. Ceramics
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
Area 2. Drawing & Illustration
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
Area 3. Electronic Time-Based Art
Area 4. Fiber Art & Textile Design
Area 5. Jewelry & Metals
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
Area 6. Painting
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
Area 7. Photography
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
Area 9. Interdisciplinary
May require prerequisites be met before completing the area.
- Any course in Areas 1 through 8 - Credit Hours: 3.00
- Another course in Areas 1 through 8 - Credit Hours: 3.00
Notes
- 50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University.
- Art & Design Majors (except AHST) are NOT permitted to pursue this minor, due to overlap of courses.
