About the Program
Through the lens of the humanities and social sciences, this program will introduce students to transformative texts that have influenced our understanding of the modern world and will prepare students to communicate more effectively. The Cornerstone certificate uses a series of relevant themes to provide a coherent program for students to fulfill up to 60% of UCC requirements with a purposeful set of classes. The program will provide students with a deep understanding of the dynamic human relationships and the global, social, and cultural dimensions that impact the disciplines of engineering, technology, science, medicine, business, and public policy. Students will be better positioned to respond to the changing demands of world and the marketplace to rise to the top of their fields as innovative and transformative leaders.
