PHYS 66400 - Quantum Theory Of Many-Body Systems Credit Hours: 3.00. Practical introduction to modern quantum field theory techniques as applied to the study of many-body phenomena occurring in solid state systems. Standard perturbative-theoretic results based on zero- and finite-temperature Green’s functions, with application to specific physical situations. Introduction to nonperturbative methods.
