HORT 31000 - Planting Design Basics Credit Hours: 1.00. An introduction to the principles and methods of design and graphic communication as applied to the arrangement of plants in the landscape. The focus will be on small scale, ornamental and educational display plantings. Both herbaceous and woody planting design examples for public gardens, golf courses and other public sites will be presented. Offered during weeks 6-10. Typically offered Fall.
