Admission Requirements:

Doctoral and Master’s Degree Program Basic Requirements

  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average: 
     3.5 or equivalent required
  • Degree in CS or suitable background
  • English proficiency The majority of admitted international students whose native language is not English have at least the scores listed below:
    • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): a total of 100 on the internet-based test with no subscale score lower than 22, or 250 on the computer-based test, or 600 on the paper-based test.
    • IELTS (Academic International English Language Testing System): overall band score of at least 7.5.
    • PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English): score of at least 65.
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE): 
     Not required 

Information Assurance Education Certificate Program Basic Requirements

  • Must be tenured or tenure-track faculty members in a department of computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, information science, statistics, or physics at an institution accredited by an appropriate regional accrediting body.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
