Admission Requirements:

Master’s Degree Program Basic Requirements

If you are interested in applying for admission to the DVM program, please email: vetadmissions@purdue.edu or contact the Student Services Office.

If you are interested in applying for a clinical pathology or anatomic pathology residency program you should apply to the non-thesis Master’s/residency program for the appropriate area through the Department of Comparative Pathobiology.

  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    3.0 or equivalent required for unconditional admission
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
    Not required

International Applicant Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
    3.0 or equivalent required for unconditional admission
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
    Not required
  • TOEFL / IELTS for Non-Native English Speakers
    Applicants must achieve the minimum test scores set by the Graduate School.
  • Master’s Degree programs are generally permitted only for those currently enrolled in a veterinary residency program.
