About the Program
Jewish Studies promotes an understanding of all aspects of Jewish life, culture, language, literature, religion, and history. As a multidisciplinary program, it is composed of faculty members from the Departments of Anthropology, English, Foreign Languages and Literatures, History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology. A major and a minor in Jewish Studies are offered, and there is considerable flexibility in fashioning a program for individual interests and goals. Extracurricular activities complement the academic course of study.
