VCS 80620 - Small Animal Medicine II

Credit Hours: 1.50.  This is the second course in a series providing an overview of clinical approaches to common medical diseases of dogs and cats. A systems approach is used to teach the major concepts of diseases affecting each body system. The focus of this course is disease recognition based on initial medical information (ex. signalment, presenting complaint, physical examination), diagnosis, and treatment of common diseases encountered in small animal clinical practice. Typically offered Fall Summer.Credits: 1.50
